Compliance Consultant
Location: Nashville, TN preferred location but open to any Pulse Point. Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of the Elevance Health Pulse Point location.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Primary duties for this advanced level position may include, but are not limited to:
- Report, communicate, and research laws, regulations, requirements, regulatory audits, and/or exams.
- Provide advanced level support to regulatory audits or exams, internal audits, accreditations, on-site reviews, and risk assessments.
- Analyze and extract regulatory data and documentation for compliance with requirements.
- Participate in compliance monitoring to identify process gaps, validate compliance levels, map processes, and draft corrective actions/remediation plans.
- Conduct investigations, document findings, and update stakeholders and leadership on developments.
- Ensure corrective actions are made and travel to worksite and other locations as necessary.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 3 years of healthcare, regulatory, ethics, compliance, or privacy experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Previous Medicaid experience highly preferred.
