This role serves as a strategic partner to our business leaders, overseeing the implementation and execution of people initiatives to drive business outcomes across our Garland Production Center, Garland Services HUB, and Allen Distribution Center. Responsibilities include providing coaching and guidance to business leaders, managing employee relations, conducting workforce planning, facilitating organizational development and effectiveness, overseeing performance management, and leading employee engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the leadership team to develop, communicate, and implement various human resource policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Investigates employee relations issues such as complaints and harassment allegations, recommending appropriate solutions.
- Drives initiatives aimed at fostering a positive company culture, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
- Develops strategies to enhance workforce readiness, retention, and engagement.
- Partners with Production Center and Distribution Center leaders, as well as HR Managers, to assess hiring needs, develop staffing strategies, and execute staffing plans to meet objectives.
- Leads projects in areas such as Communications, Organizational Capability, and Strategic Management.
- Executes organizational effectiveness and development initiatives by driving employee engagement, conducting talent reviews, and facilitating succession planning.
- Identifies and delivers training initiatives for compliance and performance improvement, both at the individual and team levels.
- Manages various HR functions including Quality, Compensation, Communications, Benefits, Employee Relations, Training, and Safety.
- Balances strategic projects with daily HR administrative tasks.
- Administers compensation programs, including salary recommendations and reviews, as well as variable compensation and bonus initiatives.
- Contributes to defining HR department goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive business performance.

- Willing to travel weekly between locations: Allen DC, Garland Service HUB, and Garland PC.
Education & Experience:
- Proficiency in federal, state, and local laws governing employee relations practices.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field.
- Required Minimum Experience: 5 to 10 years.
Required Physical Effort:
- Normal office demands.
- Exposure to Production and Distribution Center conditions, including loud noises, variable temperatures, and dusty environments.
- Ability to drive and walk long distances between buildings and within the Distribution Center.
- Occasional travel may be required (<10%).
