Sentara Medical Group is seeking an Acute Care NP or PA with experience in a surgical specialty to join Sentara Comprehensive Weight Loss Solutions in Hampton, VA. The APP will care for a range of bariatric patients that includes those who have and have not had surgical weight loss.
Position Highlights:
- Monday - Friday, 8-4:30p
- Hybrid - telehealth 1-2 days a week
- Mixture of Inpatient (less than 20% of the day) and Outpatient duties
- APP will care for bariatric patients with a focus on pre and post-surgical patients, and prescribing anti-obesity medications
- Average patient panel of 16-18 per day
- No Call expectations

Job Summary
Qualifications:
MLD - Master's Level Degree: Nurse Practitioner (Required)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
Licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Required in relevant states
