TITLE: Technical Business Lead Analyst
DUTIES: The Bank of Nova Scotia seeks a Technical Business Lead Analyst in New York, NY to work closely with the BA/Dev team and the technology support team to address all business requests and production items. Responsibilities include:
- Analyze and resolve complex issues in distributed environments, collaborating with global teams.
- Evaluate and recommend enhancements and changes to existing processes.
- Work with technology and business stakeholders to understand key process flows and pain points to develop tactical or strategic solutions.
- Manage Audit-related queries and action items, ensuring timely closure.
- Demonstrate proficiency in databases like MS SQL/Sybase or Oracle, Unix scripting, PL/SQL, JIRA, and work in an Agile environment.
- Prioritize JIRA tickets raised by business and assign them to appropriate BAs.
- Design UAT test cases, assess UAT test results, and work closely with the development group to resolve defects.
- Contribute to the resolution of items raised by regulatory and compliance bodies by providing subject matter expertise on reporting content and processes.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation; auditing operating effectiveness in large scale organizations; managing senior stakeholder relationships, including building credibility and trust; performing and managing end-to-end risk and controls assessments; facilitating meetings with various stakeholders; utilizing technologies including Unix/Linux, Windows Server, Shell Scripting (BASH/KSH/CSH), Perl Scripting, Autosys/Cronjob, ITIL processes, Apache Tomcat, Oracle SQL & PL/SQL, and Ticketing tools including Service NOW.
The offered wage is between $152,859 to $152,859 per year, and 40 hours per week. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
