DescriptionJOB TITLE: Surgical Technologist
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The primary function of the Surgical Technologist is preparation of sterile equipment, instruments, and supplies for the surgery and endoscopy departments. In addition, the tech performs the duties of a scrub technician during the operative procedures as assigned by the OR Manager.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional training as surgical technologist. Certified Surgical Technologist preferred
- BLS certification required.
