MaxFund Animal Adoption Center is the largest 501c3 non-profit, no-kill animal shelter in Colorado. We are looking for qualified applicants to fill 6 Certified Veterinary Technician positions.

As a team member, you will be encouraged to use all your schooling and education as a launching pad to grow your technical acumen in emergency triage, emergency and critical care, surgical preparation/assisting, anesthesia, radiology, laboratory skills, record keeping, and client communications.
Responsibilities:
- Passion for working with animals.
- Communicate with clients and potential adopters and fosters.
- Use safe restraint techniques, follow protocol, and sustain clean and organized treatment areas, exam rooms, and labs.
- Perform all Technician duties including but not limited to cleaning and dressing wounds, administering medication, collecting samples, checking vitals, supporting surgery, anesthesia, x-ray, drawing and running blood work, urinalysis, placing IV catheters, reviewing discharge instructions, etc.
- Assist the veterinarian during surgeries and other procedures by sterilizing tools, stocking the exam and operating rooms, and confirming that equipment is all working correctly.
- Update patient files, review care plans, and handle other administrative duties as necessary.
- Ability to prioritize and manage numerous different patient needs at one time.
- Attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records.
- Willingness to take direction.
- Spanish is a plus.

Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour

Experience:
