Description: Position Purpose:
As a Clinic Manager at Mercy Care Atlanta, you will oversee the daily operations, staff management, and patient services for one or more clinic locations. You will ensure that all administrative, financial, and clinical activities run smoothly and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of patient care and staff satisfaction. This role is critical in fostering a collaborative environment where patients, providers, and staff can thrive.
What You Will Do:
- Supervise and manage clinic staff, including hiring, training, and conducting regular staff meetings.
- Monitor clinic operations, billing, and collection procedures.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and internal policies.
- Work closely with physicians to monitor patient services and productivity.
- Participate in budgeting and financial management, including revenue growth and expense reduction initiatives.
- Act as a liaison between patients, businesses, and hospitals.
- Oversee patient classification, insurance eligibility, and billing input using the EPIC system.
- Provide financial counseling to patients when needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare or business administration, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in healthcare, with strong practice management, billing, and collections expertise.
- Advanced EMR and billing skills, with experience in managing software transitions.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, and healthcare-related employment laws.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
