Atlantic Health System is seeking a FULL TIME - LEAD Patient Access Representative at Morristown Medical Center. The work schedule includes evening shift coverage and every other weekend as required by the department.
Essential Functions:
- Greet and register patients.
- Detail-oriented and demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
- Register patients accurately and timely, entering demographic and insurance information.
- Collection of copay, deductible, coinsurance, etc.
- Ability to create and sustain a cohesive team.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Top-tier communication, customer service, and teamwork skills preferred.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that includes multiple physical locations within the unit.
- Able to perform patient relocation duties and operate equipment of over 25 lbs on a regular basis.
- Strong computer skills and customer service skills required.
- Must be able to work varied hours and flexible shifts.
- Bilingual is a plus.
Minimum Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Education:
- Business degree preferred.
Relevant Experience:
- 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.
