Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Waxahachie, TX
Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), 3 shifts per week, 36 scheduled hours
Salary Range: $31.00 - $45.00 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Mammography Tech 1 to join our team. In this role, you will perform high-quality breast imaging procedures in accordance with exam protocols and regulatory standards. You will play a key role in providing compassionate care, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the safety of patients and staff during imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality breast imaging procedures, ensuring adherence to protocol and timely delivery.
- Communicate with patients using AIDET to ensure patient understanding, ease, and accurate execution of procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging, adjust immobilization devices, and operate equipment controls to set exposure factors.
- Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and radiation safety procedures to protect patients and staff.
- Maintain equipment and work area cleanliness, and report any equipment issues to management.
- Ensure proper documentation, including patient history, consent forms, and medical records, following department policies and standards.
- Administer first aid if necessary and effectively handle emergency situations using appropriate tools such as an emergency cart.
- Serve as a preceptor, providing training to new team members on procedures and services.
- Take on-call shifts if required.

Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology or related field.
- Certification: ARRT Mammography (ARRT-M) certification is required.
