A school district in Lakewood, WA is looking for dedicated School Speech Language Pathologists to join their team for the 2024 - 2025 school year with the possibility to extend. Responsibilities of a School Speech Language Pathologist SLP:
- School-based experience preferred
- Must have your CCCs
- Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments
- Attentive and caring with the ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Ensuring evaluations, treatment plans and service delivery are aligned with school, state, and federal guidelines
- Reporting progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals
- Completing treatment notes and progress reports in timely manner and according to school policy
- New grads and experienced therapists are encouraged to apply - We will support you through this transition
- Submits all billing logs and necessary information on a timely basis
