Job Overview:
Trinitas Medical Center is looking for a Director for our Mental Health - Adult Outpatient unit. Located in Elizabeth, NJ, this is a fantastic opportunity for a leadership position within the Behavioral Health space.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Licensed psychologist
- Two years administrative experience within the Mental Health and/or Behavioral Health Space
Certifications and Licenses Required:
- Licensed Psychologist within NJ
Scheduling Requirements:
- Monday - Friday
- 40 hours/week, 8am- 5pm
- Full-Time Schedule
Essential Functions:
- Provides day to day oversight of the Psychology internship program
- Manages the interviewing, ranking and match of prospective interns
- Supervises psychology interns both in group and individually
- Distributes and manages program evaluations and incorporates feedback into program development
- Manages the wellness rotation for the linden school contract and provides parents workshops as indicated
- Maintains an outpatient caseload
- Acts as a liaison with APPIC Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers and provides timely submission of all necessary information in regard to the internship program
