FlexStaff is looking for an LPN for an Assisted Living facility to work for one of our external clients, a multi-service certified home care organization for their assisted living in Westchester, NY.
This is a permanent, full-time job. Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, & Monday, 7am-5pm.
In this role you will be responsible for administering skilled nursing care to patients in the facility.
An ideal candidate would have NYS LPN License and at least 1-2 Years of clinical experience. Knowledge of State and Federal regulations as it pertains to Certified Home Health Agency required.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Taking and monitoring patient vital signs.
- Assisting patients with eating, dressing, and bathing.
- Administering medication.
- Communicating changes in patient behavior or health status to Nurses, Physicians, and family members.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
- Collecting specimen samples when needed.
- Taking an active part in patient care planning.
- Overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants and training.
- Preparing patients for transfers or discharge.
- Assisting in medical procedures.
- Managing emergency medical situations.
