Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Certified Dental Assistant. In this position you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our established practice while providing exceptional customer service to our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist dentist during procedures, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and provide chairside assistance as needed.
Maintain electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and privacy standards.
Collaborate with the dental team members to facilitate treatment planning.
Support clinical department with tasks such as inventory management and equipment maintenance.
Schedule appointments.
Take and record vital signs of patients
Perform medical imaging tasks as needed
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, associate degree or certification in dental assisting preferred.
Previous experience in dental assisting is a must
Radiology certificate.
Proficiency in Open Dental practice management software.
Effective communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Knowledge of Itero, CBCT, Invisalign is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour Yearly Wage: Between $24,940.80 - $48,322.80 based on hours and hourly wage
Expected hours: 20-31 per week
