Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Unit Support Coordinator for our Behavioral Health Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Unit Support Coordinator you will:
- Support departmental operations by providing effective and timely communications, maintaining a clean, safe and orderly work environment, maintaining data and related records, and by performing clerical and other support services as directed.
- Responsible for processing physician orders, communication, and other general duties.
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma / GED
- At least 1 year experience working in a hospital or doctor’s office.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology required.
- Proficient in PC, Internet and email required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Training in data entry of clinical systems preferred.
- Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Work Schedule:
40 hours per week: 8-hour day and evening shifts. Rotating holiday and weekend schedule. 8am-4:30pm, 7am-3:30pm, 11am-7pm. Exact schedule discussed between candidate and HM. 3/5 days MUST be 11am-7pm. *Cross-trained as psychiatric technician.
Pay Range: $17.76 - $24.18
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.
