JHCP is looking for a Medical Office Assistant to provide excellent customer service to our patients at the Heart Care Region in Bethesda, Maryland. The Medical Office Assistant in the managed care practice provides for the smooth flow of patients through the practice, for the proper disposition of telephone calls that are received by and originate from the practice and for the coordination of patient appointments and correspondence. Offers friendly, courteous assistance to every customer to ensure they have a positive, professional experience while at JHCP.
Location: 6410 Rockledge Dr., Suite 200 Bethesda, MD 20817 (Position will require travel to practices within the National Capitol Region)
Shift: Non-exempt. - Full-Time - 40 hours per week - Mon-Fri - 8:00 - 4:30 p.m.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Two years' work experience preferred.
Must successfully pass all required training to obtain security access to perform role. Includes, but not limited to: Electronic medical record training, Insurance training-foundations, government and commercial.
Salary Range: Minimum 16.86 per hour - Maximum 27.84 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
