Job Summary
The Program Director is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of programs within our organization. This position requires a strong understanding of medical records systems, critical care protocols, and patient monitoring practices. The Program Director will ensure compliance with resident rights and medical terminology standards while fostering a culture of excellence in acute care settings.
Duties
- Lead and manage program operations to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Oversee documentation review processes to maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff on critical care practices and patient monitoring techniques.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance program effectiveness and improve patient outcomes.
- Monitor program performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Manage shift schedules effectively to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal patient care delivery.
- Advocate for resident rights and promote a respectful environment that prioritizes patient dignity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably in acute care or critical care environments.
- Strong knowledge of medical records systems, documentation practices, and medical terminology.
- Excellent skills in patient monitoring and critical care protocols.
- Demonstrated ability to manage shifts efficiently while ensuring high standards of care.
- Familiarity with resident rights regulations and commitment to upholding them.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams while fostering a positive work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing, health care, or business administration preferred.
- Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in health care management, home health, hospice, or related health programs required.
- Two (2) years of hospice experience required with intimate knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and Department of Aging and Disability Services regulations.
- Operations and/or Sales Leadership experience required
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships in the communities served as well as within a company.
- Skilled at establishing/maintaining working relationships with key staff, marketing contacts, and clinical staff to ensure the thorough understanding of Hospice Mission and services.
- Experience in analyzing processes, improvement planning, supporting change, and effectively managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
