Job Summary
The Innovation Lab Associate will support Endeavor Health in advancing healthcare innovations by partnering with doctors, nurses, and industry partners. This role involves project coordination, research, collaboration with clinicians, and community engagement to develop and implement innovative healthcare solutions.
What you will do:
- Collaboration: Work closely with clinicians (doctors and nurses) and industry partners to support the integration of innovative solutions into clinical practice. This includes regular meetings to understand clinical needs, independent research about topic(s), and brainstorming sessions to develop practical solutions.
- Research and Development: Engage in research activities related to healthcare innovation, including surgical simulation, 3D modeling, and other projects. This includes conducting literature reviews, designing experiments, and analyzing data to support ongoing research.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation and assist in preparing reports and presentations for various stakeholders, including producing research papers for publication and presentations at conferences.
- Community Engagement: Participate in community outreach initiatives to extend the impact of Endeavor Health's innovation programs.
What you will need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, or related field (Junior or Senior Year Students should still apply); Graduate School Students in a relevant field (e.g., biomedical engineering, healthcare, design, or related disciplines).
- Experience: College Student
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): Strong interest in healthcare innovation and simulation, coupled with excellent organizational skills and some project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively and possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software is essential, and experience with 3D modeling software, such as Tinkercad, and other innovation tools is a plus. Additionally, the candidate should be self-directed and proactive with their work tasks.
