The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to homecare patients.Responsibilities:Here’s how you’ll move healthcare forward in this role:
- Take part in a two-week clinical orientation to learn key procedures, the EMR system, compassionate care, and safety.
- Assess and evaluate the needs of patients with multiple disease processes and comorbidities and develop an appropriate plan of care.
- Provide education and strategies for patients and families.
- Partner with other VNA clinicians and external providers to execute best patient outcomes.
- Document all changes in patient’s condition and update care plans and outcomes.
Qualifications:The ideal qualifications for the Registered Nurse, Homecare, include:
- RN with Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- 1+ year of supervised clinical experience as a registered nurse.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Car and valid driver’s license.
Working Conditions/Physical Demand:Working indoors and outdoors with clinical equipment and use of phone and computer; Job characteristics: Client and Customer contact.
