ResponsibilitiesGranite Hills Hospital offers high-quality, patient-centered care for the greater Milwaukee community. With a wide range of treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, our mission is to provide much-needed outcome-focused care for those who need it most. Our new 120-bed facility will feature evidence-based treatment modalities and a multi-disciplinary team led by expert medical professionals. The 120 beds are split into 5 groups of 24 with enclosed outdoor spaces to promote healing.
Granite Hills Hospital is recruiting RNs for our Internal Nursing Agency.
These temporary, 36 hour/week positions are for night shift.
These are 26 week temporary assignments with rates at $60 per hour.
Registered Nurses (RN) are responsible for completing the following duties and tasks:
- Assess patients through a systematic process of interacting with the patient, the patient's significant others, and the appropriate health care providers.
- Administer medications in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.
- Collect and analyze data regarding the patient's physical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and anticipated discharge planning needs.
- Develop a comprehensive outline of care and specific goals and interventions to be included in treatment planning. Prepare interdisciplinary treatment plans for assigned patients and monitor patient's progress toward meeting treatment plan objectives.
- Monitor patients' progress while following nursing protocols.
What Does Granite Hills Hospital Require for this Role?
A valid State of Wisconsin Nursing (RN) (Registered Nurse) License is required. Previous psychiatric, behavioral or mental health nursing experience is helpful but not required. CPR certification is required upon hire and will be provided at orientation, if needed.
