Our company is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative to join our team in Northridge, CA. As a PSR I, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care by accurately drawing blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing. You will have direct interaction with patients, fostering a trusting and comfortable environment while explaining procedures and ensuring their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately draw blood samples from patients of all ages, following established procedures and protocols.
- Prepare and process blood specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Maintain a safe and professional working environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and build positive relationships with patients.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comply with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic training preferred).
- Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in a healthcare setting.
- One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in keyboard/data entry.
