Provides accurate, timely and cost effective laboratory testing of patient samples to aid in diagnosis and treatment of disease. Provide technical expertise to Providence Seward Medical Center Lab and other healthcare institutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree BS in Medical Technology Or equivalent educ/experience
- Rural Site Only: Meet CLIA personnel requirements for high complexity testing personnel.
- Within 1 year of hire National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or
- Within 1 year of hire National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology Or
- Within 1 year of hire National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts Or
- Within 1 year of hire National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists Or
- Within 1 year of hire National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology
- 1 year Clinical lab experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree Or
- Bachelor's Degree
- Upon hire: Medical Terminology and Medical Coding certification
- 1 year Experience in a patient-facing healthcare environment or insurance registration or insurance billing.
