Since its creation, Cardiac Study Center (CSC) has contracted with Pulse Heart Institute for outpatient cardiology and billing services. CSC is a proud partner of Pulse, and has provided outpatient cardiology services in the Puget Sound Region for over 50 years. CSC partnered with MultiCare Health System to create Pulse Heart Institute in 2016 to work toward improving the health of cardiac patients.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Position Summary
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist role involves conducting nuclear medicine tests with independence and expertise, ensuring safety and protocol compliance. This requires a blend of technical skill, patient interaction, and meticulous record-keeping to deliver precise diagnostic information.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Qualifications:
- Current certification including Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT), or The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists [ARRT (N)] or successful completion of registration within one (1) year of starting employment.
- Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health
- Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Responsibilities
- Execute nuclear medicine procedures and manage radioisotope doses.
- Uphold radiation safety and ALARA principles for all.
- Maintain detailed records of isotope usage and radiation safety measures.
- Engage in patient care, ensuring comfort and understanding of procedures.
- Contribute to team efforts and continuous quality improvement.
- Handle administrative tasks related to patient records and billing.
Pay and Benefit Expectations
Cardiac Study Center/ Pulse Heart Institute provides a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The starting pay for this position is $37.25 and the pay scale is $37.25 - $61.56 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
