Responsibilities
- Creates and manages sales performance goals for the region.
- Monitors and directs the business development staffing strategy.
- Ensures that sales team has necessary training and resources to drive business from physicians, facilities, and other referral sources.
- Creates and directs the region's enterprise growth strategy partnering with health care providers to ensure a continuum of care.
- Works closely with the operations team to ensure successful execution of the region's operational growth strategy.
- Functions as a member of the executive management team for the region ensuring that company compliance, performance and HR guidelines are maintained in the region.
- Monitors and evaluates employee performance.
- Holds employees accountable for the attainment of defined goals and objectives.
- Executes effective performance redirection when needed.
- Develops employees through coaching, mentoring, and formal/on the job training and development opportunities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business and/or management preferred.
- Five years of sales experience.
- Two years of home health or hospice sales experience.
- One year of supervisory experience within the healthcare industry preferred.
- Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance.
Please note: This role will travel 50% or more within the assigned territory.
