Staff Nurses are responsible for the following:
- Performing patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
- Practicing safe medication administration and assessing patient responses to medication.
- Participating in reviewing and/or implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
The Staff Nurse will provide professional nursing care to a group of patients within a specified time period and complete all required documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- BSN Degree preferred
- State Issued RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson’s clinical entities or at the University. If you are not currently vaccinated, you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to the hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
