Located within walking distance of the local shops of Milford, Milford beach and Lake Pupuke, Animates Vetcare is a large purpose-built clinic with lots of space and natural light. We are a friendly tight-knit group with a strong focus on mental health and wellbeing, who work to support each other within the workplace and out. We have a loyal customer base, with the majority having pet insurance.
Our clinic offers a wide range of services, including consults, surgery, in-house diagnostics, X-ray, Ultrasound and Cattery services. We have three consult rooms, a purpose-built sterile surgery, prep and dental area with a wall-mounted dental x-ray machine and DR plate. We also house a Lab area with Biochemistry, Hematology machines and a Microscope with LED screen as well as an X-ray suite with adjustable table and a Logiq E9 ultrasound.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Veterinary Nurse to join us on a full-time basis, working 40 hours per week from Mondays to Fridays, with the occasional Saturday.
What we’re looking for:
- You are proficient in all-round clinical and surgical nursing with at least 2 years clinical experience.
- You enjoy learning and embracing new technology.
- You’re passionate about the veterinary industry and high standards of patient care.
- You’ve got customer service experience and you work well in a team.
