ResponsibilitiesAs an APP at Duly, you will get the opportunity to:
- Practice at the top of your license and form trusting relationships working under the direct supervision of your collaborating physician, Dr. MercurioKimberly Mercurio, MD | Duly Health and Care
- Gain increased autonomy and independence in decision making with support from Dr. Mercurio.
- Impact care delivery and patient satisfaction by having a voice in clinical decisions.
- Develop a 1:1 relationship and partnership with Dr. Mercurio, clinical staff members, and management.
- Join a collaborative team and participate in a structured training program including orientation, shadowing, and onboarding
- Complete patient examinations and treatment, order diagnostic and therapeutic modalities, prescribe medication, provide patient and family education, and complete documentation.
- In-hospital rounds and consults with the surgeon
- Operating room surgical assistance
- Post-op clinic and patient follow-up

Qualifications- Graduation from an approved school for Nurse Practitioners OR Physician Assistant-Masters Degree.
- Licensed or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Illinois
- Previous Experience (1+ years) in Orthopedics, Physiatry, or similar setting.
