The successful candidate:

- This is a full-time 12hr shift where you will be scheduled to work 3 days a week with call.
- Ensure the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedures are conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
- Properly handle the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
- Ensures quality patient care at all times during the operative procedure and maintenance of the sterile field.
- Acts as a consultant to the healthcare profession, patient or caregiver regarding patient advocacy and delivery of safe, competent, and quality perioperative care.
Minimum Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technologist training program
Minimum Experience
- 2 years surgical tech experience, preferred
- Participation in continuing education programs
Required Certification/Licensure
- Must have an active BLS certification
