To greet parents, guardians and carers of children coming to the Pre-school Nursery, providing reassurance where necessary.
All key workers will carry out appropriate observations on their key worker children.
To liaise with staff, volunteers, users and providers in a professional manner, contributing to the efficient running of Dalton Pre-School Nursery.
To provide a safe, caring, learning experience for all children attending the Pre-School Nursery, communicating appropriately with children attending Dalton Pre-School Nursery.
To maintain up to date and appropriate Profiles for Children.
To ensure that toys and equipment are safe, clean and ready for use.
To raise any concerns regarding child welfare with the Manager/ Room Leaders.
Make sure there is appropriate access to all activities to follow freedom of choice.
To ensure all Parents/Carers of Dalton Pre-School Nursery are treated fairly and with respect.
To look after the health and wellbeing of children whilst at the Pre-School Nursery, including changing nappies, never leaving children unattended at any time etc.
To maintain confidentiality of all information in relation to children and families.
Risk Assessment implemented daily.
To display children’s work.
To reflect and develop practice and undertake supervision.
To undertake training as required for the role.
To undertake other work that may arise on a day to day basis, to support Dalton Pre-School Nursery.
