As an RN, Coordinator of Patient Care Services, you are responsible for the following:
- Acts as a resource, role model, and clinical leader for the patient care team.
- Evaluates patient needs and makes care recommendations based on those needs.
- Monitors staff schedules to ensure adequate staffing to meet patient care needs.
Reporting to the Nurse Manager, the RN, Coordinator of Patient Care Services will assist the nursing staff in ensuring compassionate, safe, quality care for patients and families while also managing and influencing clinical nursing practice, and the environment in which care is provided.
Qualifications for this position include:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; BSN or completion of BSN within 3 years of hire strongly preferred.
- Current licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Three (3) years of prior nursing experience required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.

Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI fingerprint-based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
