The Cardiovascular Lab Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient care and procedural provider support during complex invasive cardiovascular procedures that do and do not require an anesthesiologist, and have the potential for prolonged pain, anxiety and risk of life-threatening complications. The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide nursing care before, during and after diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac, electrophysiology, nephrology, and vascular laboratories. The Registered Nurse provides conscious sedation from mild up to deep sedation under the direct supervision of a physician during invasive cardiovascular procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Will consider other nursing degrees on an individual basis, requirement to complete BSN within five (5) years from date of hire.
- One (1) year critical care and/or cardiology and/or procedural experience.
- Conscious sedation experience.
- BLS current or completed within three (3) months of hire date.
- ACLS completed within one (1) year of hire date.
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Wisconsin.
- Advanced arrhythmia and hemodynamic skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Clean, sterile, and aseptic technique.
- Cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
Preferred or Specialized Qualifications:
- Previous cardiovascular, electrophysiology, vascular, or interventional lab experience.
- Advanced certification in cardiac, electrophysiology or vascular.
- Epic, Sensis, Axiom, Syngo, CPACS.
- Or other cardiovascular Lab hemodynamic or x-ray systems.
- Peripheral vascular anatomy and physiology.
- Complex endovascular devices.
