Job Details:
A lab manager is sought to work on multiple ongoing projects focused on basic science and intervention research with couples, led by Dr. Hannah Williamson. This position start date can be as soon as 10/03/2024 but is flexible. Extensive training and close supervision will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Work with new and existing staff to coordinate the day-to-day operation and management of the research project.
- Collect data from human subjects participants via multiple modalities, including in-person and on the phone.
- Develop and implement protocols for maintaining data quality, including outreach and follow-up with longitudinal participants.
- Manage study files, lab expenses, and Departmental/University paperwork including IRB compliance documents.
- Coordinate weekly scientific meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Development and Family Sciences, or related field and two years of relevant research experience as an undergraduate or post-bacc.
- Effective time management and attention to detail to ensure the tasks and goals of the project are completed to a high-quality standard.
- Outstanding interpersonal communication.
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Spanish fluency (speaking and reading/writing) is strongly preferred.
- Experience with recruitment and data collection in under-represented samples.
- Familiarity with data collection software (e.g., Qualtrics, RedCap), and basic office software suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel to data collection sessions if needed.
Salary Range: $36,000+ depending on qualifications
