Investigator in the UC Davis Alzheimer's Disease Center (ADRC) and Neuroimaging Core to support various studies as a facilitator of neuroimaging procedures under the direction of the study PIs and Director of Clinical Research of the ADRC.
The incumbent will assist with consenting, recruitment of eligible participants, safety screening to receive brain MRI and PET scans, scheduling of imaging visits following IRB approved study protocols, scan acquisition and patient safety and privacy regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

- Human subjects and HIPAA certification must be completed once hired.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Clinical trials experience.
- Experience with administration of IRB policies, procedures and HIPAA regulations.
- Experience with scheduling multiple components of appointments.
- Experience clinical research experience recruiting and communicating with geriatric population.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Flexible to changing priorities, schedule disruptions and interpersonal challenges.
- Ability to work independently in a team environment with a minimum of supervision.
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on the needs of research objectives, research participants.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience screening patients for radiological exams.
- Customer service experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred.
- Good analytical skills and experience with computer spreadsheets and ability to manage specialized software such as Oncore or databases (REDCap).

The Department of Neurology in the UC Davis School of Medicine fosters teaching, conducts basic and clinical research on the nervous system and provides clinical care for people with neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, epilepsy, movement disorders, tremor, dystonia, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular conditions, headache and sleep disorders.
