Overview
The Bruce Wells Scholars Upward Bound Program, federally funded, is designed to help first generation/low income high school students attend and succeed in post-secondary education. Interns help with all program facets of programming from tutoring, to planning, to required documentation, to Saturday programming, to workshop planning and facilitation, to summer component programming. More to come as the intern meets with the Director and/or the Coordinators as we plan many tasks together to ensure a rich experience for interns, scholars, and all staff. Although our interns are unpaid, the experience gained is incredibly impactful and gives a strong foundation for future professional endeavors.
