Job Description
Responsible for reviewing all alarms in Solvent recovery, WWTP, waste Minimization, and Storage tanks. Process control system knowledge and trouble-shooting. Investigate, troubleshoot and report findings of incorrect alarm settings and resolve them.
Develop, implement and monitor technical solutions for reducing the alarms without compromising safety or quality. Play a pro-active role in ensuring the site safety standards are adhered to. Ensure the alarm reduction process meets the agreed site quality standard.
Proactively monitor, identify, develop and implement improvements of total alarms reduction in processes and equipment. Perform alarms trends review using DCS Delta V control system and effectively reduce.
Focus on safety and GMP compliance as operational priorities and as performance measures. Be accountable for the good data management and data integrity understanding and performance of their team.
Communicate on a regular basis to the plant personnel on process updates. Train the process technicians on the process and procedures as required due to alarms improvement changes.
Ensure we adhere to our approved procedures and update these as required. Accountable for documentation, training, and process knowledge on alarm management.
Be the subject matter expert and system owner for alarm management. Present the system to external and internal auditors.
Requirement
- Min. Degree in Engineering, preferably in Chemical Engineering or Degree in Science with major in Chemistry.
- Min. 1-3 years experience in a relevant manufacturing environment.
- Has prior experience in DCS Delta.
