Position Summary:
Manages personnel and resources to ensure cost effective, high quality and timely services in Clinical Nutrition and Patient Services areas. Develops standards and oversees the planning and execution of all activities. Coordinates clinical and patient service activities with other disciplines throughout the hospital. Ensures clinical and patient services practices are current and that clinical practice evidence based. Develops and implements customer service standards to attain a loyal customer base. Responsible for attaining financial targets in area of direct responsibility as well as sharing responsibility for fiscal performance of all cost centers. Participates in the development and implementation of department goals. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Master’s degree preferred, bachelor’s degree required.
Experience: Five years’ experience as a clinical dietitian. Previous experience with providing nutritional care for patient age groups including neonates/infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric adults.
Licensure: Missouri Dietitian License. Certified Nutrition Support Clinician Registration (CNSC) required within 1 year of hire or Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE)
