In collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, provides therapeutic services including evaluation, treatment, and education. Monitors the treatment activities of COTA's and aides.

Essential Functions
- Completes evaluations of assigned patients in accordance with the established standards of care and practice.
- Plans and provides treatment to assigned patients as appropriate in accordance with established standards of care and practice.
- Completes all documentation of services per department standards.
- Attends all required safety training programs and can describe responsibilities related to safety and specific job-related hazards.
- Demonstrates respect for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors, and fellow employees.
- Promotes effective working relations and works effectively as part of a department/unit team.
- Maintains updated license and submits evidence of status to supervisor/manager within two weeks of receipt of new or updated license.
Qualifications
Required Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Graduate from an accredited OT school.
- Successful completion of clinical internship. Required
- Previous clinical experience/rehabilitation experience. Preferred
- LIC-Occupational Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire preferred
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross
