RN Mobile
Inova Health System's Loudoun Hospital is looking for a RN Mobile PRN to join our team supporting underserved areas within Loudoun County. This Registered Nurse will see patients of all age groups in Loudoun's underserved areas (low income/no health insurance/recently moved to the country/etc.).

Responsibilities:
The Mobile Registered Nurse provides knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patients, families, nurses and healthcare delivery teams. Main responsibilities include blood pressure & biometric screenings, along with community education. Consistently provides safe and therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way while incorporating differences into the provision of care and ensuring that all patient care activities and interactions are patient and family centered. Integrates knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care to include patient and family education. Serves as an empowering body to influence patient empowerment and successful outcomes of financial and clinical quality through relationships and access based knowledge, while utilizing standards, guidelines and pathways for care delivery. Requirements:
- Hours: PRN - busiest days are Tuesday-Thursday mornings; 1 weekend shift per month requirement (if there are weekend events). There are typically 15-20 events per month, each varying from 2 to 6 hours in length.
- Location: Inova Loudoun Hospital - travel required to events.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree Nursing or associate's degree. If RN has an associate's degree, within 2 years of date of hire, they must meet with their nurse leader and conduct the following: 1.) Identify which accredited school they plan to attend 2.) Provide a written plan with anticipated BSN completion date 3.) Submit a review of transcripts from the school indicating the required pre-requisites and timeline for taking the courses 4.) Complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- Experience: 1 year of Registered Nurse.
- Licensure/Certifications: Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state Registered Nurse license; BLS from the American Heart Association.
