We are searching for a talented RN-QI Specialist I
Hours: 40hrs
Shift: Day shift; 8:00am - 4:30pm
Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA; Schedule is hybrid; System position- site rotation schedule as needed

Responsibilities
Conduct reviews and process improvement on various quality metrics or data reporting requirements to meet external and internal requirements and deliver performance that meets goals. Develop and maintain knowledge of assigned quality metrics/processes/order sets/pathways. Obtain, review and study quality metric specification updates to remain current and work to ensure compliance. Fulfill documentation and reporting requirements. Provide information and support to clinical staff, leadership, and colleagues. Completes chart abstractions, data collection, and reporting for assigned quality metrics including analysis for opportunities and leading resulting process and quality improvement activities. Report and display data/information in a clear, understandable format for end-users to identify/detect patterns, trends, analysis, programs, and barriers. Create or provide process flows and reports as needed.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing or the equivalent education and experience is required.
- Experience with EPIC and reporting software/dashboards is preferred.
- Knowledge of clinical quality measures is preferred.
- Efficient use of Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Outlook) is required; advanced users of Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
- Five (5) years of related experience preferred.
- Three (3) years nursing experience is required.
- Ability to summarize data/information in tables, charts, graphs, and visual displays for data analysis/interpretation/communication is required.
- Excellent critical thinking and reasoning skills are required.
- Attention to detail is required.
- Current RN Registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Lean Certification is required or must be obtained while holding this position.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
Pay Range
USD $39.85 - USD $70.58 /Hr.
