- Part Time: 16 hr/wk
- Hours: Fri-Mon, 3-11:30p
A Brief Overview:
Provides quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients hospitalized for emotional or psychiatric disorders; serves actively and constructively as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization and program philosophy of care; to ensure the safety and well-being of each patient.
What you will need:
Education, Skills and/or Experience Required:
- Maintain information as highly confidential
- Nursing degree
Education, Skills and/or Experience Preferred:
- One-year psychiatric experience
- Basic knowledge of abnormal psychology as typically found in the psychiatric population
- Familiarity with management of a therapeutic level system and understanding of system of rewards and consequences
License/Certification Required:
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or Red Cross
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification within 90 days of hire
