About this role:
As an Advanced Practice Provider in Pulmonology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will run the Pulmonology clinic along with two advanced practice providers, seeing approximately 8-10 patients per day. This is a part-time, 100% outpatient opportunity.
- You will practice at St. George Regional Hospital in St. George, Utah
- Your hours will be Wednesdays and Thursdays, working 8-hour shifts
- No call required

What you'll bring:
- Unrestricted Utah NP or PA license
- Current Utah DEA certificate required prior to start date
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
- Ability to work autonomously and independently in a clinic setting
- At least one year of experience as an APP in Pulmonology

Physical Requirements:
Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies. Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations. Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use and typing for documenting patient care, accessing needed information, medication preparation, etc. Expected to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
