Job Description:
The CT Tech performs a variety of CT procedures using ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. This position uses ingenuity, initiative, and independent judgement to perform high quality scans.

Scope:
- Perform a variety of CT procedures to produce images of a patient's body for diagnostic purposes.
- Obtain patient history, explain the procedure/process to the patients and/or family members, and address any patient questions/concerns.
- Collaborate with both internal and external healthcare team members to contribute to the plan of care of the patient.
- Assist in identifying and driving quality and performance improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) within 60 days, Required
- ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) Upon Hire, Required
- Certified Computed Tomography Technologist - American Registry of Radiography Technologists ARRT (R)(CT), Preferred
- Licensure in state of practice as applicable, Upon Hire, Required
- IV Competency within 90 Days, Required
- For caregivers hired in this role in the State of Colorado, a Fluoroscopy certification, Preferred
- Specific facility-based certification may also be required for this role.
- 1-2 years Work Experience CT Experience in a hospital setting, Preferred

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience: $34.06 - $52.55.
