Short Description
- Interviews and screens patients prior to MRI procedures to ensure there are no safety concerns/contraindications.
- Performs MRI procedures following the protocols established by the Radiologists.
- Begins studies, transfers images, documents patient history, and completes studies in EPIC/EMR and PACS systems.
- Experience with Cardiac and Pediatrics preferred.
- Siemens experience preferred.
- Able to correctly apply MRI compatible monitoring systems/IV infusion pumps to patients when necessary.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills needed to effectively orchestrate daily workflow of patients.
Experience Required
1+ years MRI experience; Cardiac and Pediatric experience preferred, but not necessary.
Education Requirements
Graduate of approved AMA RT Program.
License/Certification Requirements
Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists); Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
