Job responsibilities
- Participates in activities related to the receiving, handling, inventory, dispensing, and disposal of investigational products.
- Participates in reviewing, approving and implementing relevant SOPs and protocol sections related to investigational products and other applicable documents.
- Serves as source for consultation, information and reference for internal and external clients to ensure that client and study needs are met.
- Participates in client visits, including sponsor or regulatory agency audits and participates to the project trusted process.
- Identifies ways to improve work projects, plans, methods and processes, and develops actions and recommendations in order to improve efficiency.
- Collaborates to ensure training development plan in order to improve the team's effectiveness and achieve expected results.
- Supervises and verifies the preparation of all study medication for parenteral administration or specific preparations (as requested by the Qualified Investigator).
- Manages human capital including workforce planning and hiring activities, performance management and daily monitoring of productivity; facilitate knowledge development and transfer; and ensure the efficiency and mobilization of the team in order to achieve the expected results (if applicable).
- May be assigned other clinical tasks.
Qualifications
What we're looking for
Position in Canada
- B.Sc. in Pharmacy or PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy).
- English level: Required bilingualism includes communicating verbally and in writing on topics that are often technical and writing procedures or technical reports.
- Active membership of the OPQ.
- Experience in regulatory context and in clinical research may be an asset.
- Experience in the management of staff will be considered an asset.
- Must demonstrate good computer skills especially in the utilization of Microsoft Word and Excel and clinical software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills, both written and spoken, with an ability to inform, influence, convince, and persuade.
- Candidate who does not possess the required training and/or experience may be considered under different criteria.
Position in US
- Pharmacy degree from an accredited school.
- Active license is clear and in good standing.
- Experience in regulatory context and in clinical research may be an asset.
- Experience in the management of staff will be considered an asset.
