POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Specialist ensures the quality care of all residents by conducting site visits and audits of assigned communities. The position requires an understanding of, and commitment to, the mission and core values of the company, state regulations, company policies and procedures and understanding of best practice industry standards and protocols. Has familiarity and willingness to work with elderly population. Demonstrated ability to appropriately delegate responsibility with necessary authority without relinquishing his/her overall responsibility and accountability for the delegated task. Demonstrated ability to identify problems in a timely manner, develop effective resolutions to those problems and ensure implementation of the proposed resolution, confirm results, and revise, as necessary. Works closely with the Vice President of Health and Wellness and has a dotted line of supervision to the Regional Director of Operations, Regional Director of Health and Wellness and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing.
Essential Duties:
- Directly oversee/assist with the delivery of care to Assisted Living/Memory Care residents to ensure that emotional, physical, psychological and safety needs are met through all program services and activities.
- Work with residents, families, and community to ensure that residents are at appropriate levels of care.
- Develop and/or monitor documentation systems.
