The Medical Laboratory Technician implements the clinic's mission, goals and objectives by exemplifying the short- and long-term vision, values, and goals of the department by providing professional clinical laboratory science services including the performance of clinical laboratory testing, proficiency testing, quality control, professional consultation, instrument maintenance and validation, testing validation, testing management and other functions toward the attainment of these goals. Performs all duties in a manner which promotes team concept and reflects the mission and values of Providence Health & Services.

Required Qualifications:
- Associate's Degreein Clinical Laboratory Science, one of the specialty areas, or one of the chemical or biological sciences.
- National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathologyupon hire. Or
- National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologistsupon hire. Or
- National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalystsupon hire. Or
- National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathologyupon hire. Or

- National Laboratory Tech - United States Governmentupon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical laboratory.
