Physician Assistant (PA) in Family Medicine

Compensation: $136,240 with additional productivity and quality bonuses, commencement and retention bonuses, and comprehensive benefits including relocation or rental assistance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care that includes recording physical and mental status, performing physical exams, and managing overall patient care.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in managing patient care.
- Implement treatment plans and monitor effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
- Prescribe and dispense medications as part of the management of patient health.
- Split direct patient care time between acute care visits and ongoing care for an established patient panel.
- Work collaboratively with an RN team leader and a medical assistant to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Foster a cooperative and communicative environment with patients and other healthcare team members.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Licensed by the State of New Hampshire as a Physician Assistant.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in outpatient primary care practice.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the technical and critical thinking skills required in a Family Medicine setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based care and patient interactions.
- Ability to adapt to the dynamic health needs of a diverse patient population from pediatric through geriatric patients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing a high elderly population and chronic disease management.
- Familiarity with EMR, specifically Meditech Expanse and Dragon dictation systems.
- Proven track record of developing strong patient-provider relationships.
- Previous experience in a rural health clinic setting.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
