RN/LPN HOME HEALTH POSITION
Professional Home Care Services is seeking full-time and part-time Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for a Home Health position in Portland, Oregon. PHCS is an established privately owned healthcare business that is solely for one adult male quadriplegic/ventilator dependent patient.
At PHCS we are looking for a friendly member to join our wonderful staff! The nurse has a private office space in the patients/family’s beautiful welcoming home.
Patient enjoys a social lifestyle with family and friends, dining out, sporting events and running errands in his wheelchair friendly van. On the job training is provided
Job Details:
- 12-hour shifts (variable shifts available)
- Full-time and part-time positions open
- Competitive wages:
- LPN $30 – $37 DOE
- RN $45 - $55 DOE
- Benefits include: health/dental/vision insurance, 401k match, vacation and sick time
Job Responsibilities:
- Primary care and medication administration
- Respiratory care
- Assisting patient with ADLs (CNA available for morning care)
- Administrative work
- Driving patient to appointments (company owned van)
- Transferring to and from wheelchair via overhead hoyer lift
- Wound care (if needed)
Qualifications:
- Current OSBN nursing license
- Valid driver’s license
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Nursing experience preferred
- Ventilator experience is a plus
