The Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center is currently recruiting for a research faculty member with expertise in immunology. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. The applicant should have completed a postdoctoral degree. This individual will develop a Research Program, complete submission of funding applications, submit publications in high-impact journals, and participate in presentations at local and national meetings. Additionally, they will interact with other lab members to mentor and direct the research program and attend lab meetings bi-weekly, as well as departmental and university seminars. The job will require applying for grants and seeking independent funding. A commitment to basic and clinical research is essential.
