Corewell Health Children's in Southeast Michigan seeks a BE/BC pediatric surgeon to join our team of four (4) pediatric surgeons, nurse practitioner and other amazing team members who support our surgery team. Corewell Health Children's offers a full range of specialty services and is located on the campus of William Beaumont University Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. The hospital is a 1,100-bed major academic and referral center with Level I adult and Level II pediatric trauma designations. At Corewell Health Children's, patients and their families have access to advanced technology, top-rated specialists, and the latest treatment methods, inclusive of advanced MIS and robotic surgery, all designed to meet the unique needs of infants, children, and adolescents. Corewell Health Children's boasts a 70-bed pediatric unit, a 50-bed NICU, an 8-bed PICU, and the Ghesquiere Family Center for Children's Surgery. This center was designed to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of children requiring surgery. As a part of Corewell Health Children's in Southeast Michigan, there is coverage of 12-bed pediatric units and 30-bed NICUs at the system's Troy and Dearborn hospitals.
Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine is affiliated with Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan and has won many awards for innovation in education. General surgery residents rotate on pediatric surgery, an ACS certified Level II pediatric trauma center. All of our physicians receive faculty appointments at the School of Medicine and are active in clinical research.
