Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN – MS/Tele – Neuro Epilepsy Monitoring Unit
Length:16 weeks
Every other weekend Friday/Saturday night requirement, Every other holiday requirement
Requirements:
- OH license
- 1 year experience
- Must be able to read & interpret Telemetry independently
- BLS
- Neuro assessment experience preferred
Other Details: - Travelers are first to float
- EPIC EMR
- May be required to assume role of Charge RN
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
Traveler’s permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the most central facility
•NEED: RN Acute care interventional telemetry medical surgical unit
•SHIFT: Night Shift, 3×12’s per week, Every other weekend. Every other holiday.
•Must be able to read & interpret Telemetry independently.
•Neuro assessment experience preferred
•1 year of experience will be considered
•Will consider up to two weeks of RTO
•Pertinent Unit Info: Acute care interventional telemetry medical surgical unit, 32 private beds, acuity ranges from moderate to high (frequent neuro checks), 1:5-6 nurse patient ratio, navy blue scrubs. Patient population includes epilepsy, myasthenia gravis, stroke, multiple sclerosis, NPH, migraine, encephalopathy, brain mass, hemicraniectomy, other neurological/neurosurgical diagnoses. LPN blended model, must assist LPNs with assessments and medication administration. No ventilated patients. Heparin, argatroban, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, ketamine drips. Must complete bedside report at start of shift. First to float, every other weekend Friday/Saturday night requirement, every other holiday requirement. May be required to assume role of Charge RN.
